- Current ARC Requests:
- Open Floor
- Some residents expressed an interest in allowing sheds. The covenants
currently state that sheds must be the exact same materials as a house.
Dan and Justin will research different options and work with Cedric on
what we could put to a community vote to be acceptable to the neighborhood.

Board Meeting

- Motion: Prior Board Meeting Minutes to be accepted by Sarah and seconded by Cedric.
- Old Business to Review:
- Community vote for new board.
- Nomination period from Oct 6th to Oct 11th as announced on the website and
via email.
- Only nominated individuals were the existing board members.
- Election announced Oct 6th for this meeting. The announcement was posted on the
website and sent out via email on multiple occations. Absentee ballots were
accepted as well.
- 14 homeowners (one per home) were present and voted by a voice vote to accept the
nominated slate of candidates. All in the affirmative and none dissenting.
- 6 lots submitted absentee ballots. However one is disqualified as they also voted
in person. All for the nominated slate of candidates.
- Quorum of 75 lots is 19 lots (25% of 75 lots) resulting in a valid vote for the
selected candidates.
- Old Business to Review.
- Still waiting for James and Elite to get Huntsville Fence back to fix/complete
the automatic door closing mechanism.
- The fencing along Fire Side Ln is looking worse. Discussed a future improvement
to switch in to vinyl but looking into some quotes to repair it as it stands.
- New Business to Review.
- Open Floor for community members
- The prior year the board voted to relax the late penalties. For the coming year
the board did not express interest in doing so.
- The board has been in contact with the Madison City Council and the Madison Police
Department about people running the stop sign. The police department has informed
the board that they would step up policing around the stop sign.
- Homeowners have noticed HOA violations like dogs barking, cars parked on the street
for more than 24h, and trash at curbs on non-trash days. Residents were advised to
email madisonapplewoodhoa@gmail.com and info@ehmusa.com and the board would make sure
that Elite followed up on those violations.
- Motion: Adjourn meeting by Cedric Delbridge. Seconded by Sarah Comfort.
